TERMS & CANCELLATION POLICY

 

The following terms and conditions show our commitments to each other and form your contract with us.

 

1. Florence Design Apartment permits you to occupy and to use the contents of the apartment for the period shown in your confirmation invoice and email.
2. The number of people sleeping in the apartment must not exceed two.
3. You agree not to smoke or allow visitors to smoke inside the apartment, nor to allow pets in the apartment.
4. CANCELLATIONS: For reservations of one week or less there is no penalty to cancel. Any amount paid will be fully refunded (subject to any changes in exchange rates of credit card/bank fees). If a reservation for longer than one week is cancelled, 70% of any amount paid will be refunded. Please note that refunds to credit cards will be at the exchange rate which prevails at the time of the refund (not at the time of booking). If paid by bank transfer, refunds will be in the currency in which you paid.
5. Check-in time is arranged individually with guests. Generally we can achieve check-in prior to 12:00 p.m. Check-out is by 12:00 p.m. of the last day, however we are flexible about this. Please contact us in advance if you have special requests.
6. Guests are encouraged to carry travel insurance to cover contingencies including cancellation.
7. The security deposit is fully refundable. The purpose of the deposit is to cover us for potential damage to property or loss/non-return of keys which will require replacement of the door locking system.
8. It is the responsibility of guests to take appropriate precautions against damage (e.g. water, breakage) or theft and burglary. Such precautions include fully dead-bolting the door, latching all windows and shutters and not running the dish washer or washing machine when not on the premises.
